Integrating Metro with Tapestry (2)

This is an addition to my previous post.

I’ve created a small Tapestry module containing the code from the blog entry. This can be used out-of-the-box for integrating JAX-WS Metro with Tapestry.

The module is shared at github: https://github.com/derkoe/tapestry-jaxws

Happy using 🙂

  1. First of all, thanks a lot for the contribution !

I’m now trying to understand it and integrate it with my application but I’m confused about one thing at the moment, where should the WSDLs be ?! I’m still learning jax-ws so I might need some extra explanation please.

Will the jax-ws runtime generate the WSDL automatically for example ?

  2. Hi, I built the jar of your tapestry-jaxws project and I tried to integrate it in my tapestry project but when I run the application it fails with this error:

“java.lang.RuntimeException: Exception constructing service ‘MetroHttpServletRequestFilter’: Error invoking constructor public org.apache.tapestry.jaxws.internal.metro.MetroHttpServletRequestFilter(java.util.List,org.apache.tapestry5.services.ApplicationGlobals) throws java.net.MalformedURLException: com/sun/xml/ws/transport/http/servlet/ServletModule”

    can you help me?
